U.S. FX reserves (U.S. foreign exchange reserves)

U.S. FX refers to the United States foreign exchange (FX) operations and policies, primarily managed by the U.S. Treasury and the Federal Reserve.

U.S. FX reserves are foreign currency-denominated assets held by the U.S. Treasury (specifically, the Exchange Stabilization Fund, or ESF) and managed in coordination with the Federal Reserve.
